Paneer Tikka Masala- Restaurant Style at Home
Ingredients
- 250g paneer (cut into cubes)
- 1 cup curd (for marination)
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt as required
- 2 tbsp oil or butter
- 2 onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (pureed)
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp fresh cream
- Fresh coriander leaves
- Capsicum & onion cubes (optional for tikka style)
Serving Suggestion
- Best served hot with butter naan, roti, or jeera rice
- Add a drizzle of cream and a small butter cube on top for a premium look
Methods
Marinate the Paneer
Mix curd, ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric, and salt. Add paneer cubes (and capsicum/onion if using). Let it marinate for 20–30 minutes.
Grill / Roast
Cook the marinated paneer on a pan or grill until lightly charred (tikka style). Keep aside.
Prepare the Gravy
Heat butter/oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté till golden. Add tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
Add the Signature Flavor

Combine
Add grilled paneer to the gravy. Simmer for 3–5 minutes so the flavors absorb well.
